BIAC BUILDING FUND

Help our Building Fund Grow!

Since February, 2003, the Bowen Island Arts Council's Building Fund has been accepting donations from groups and individuals. BIAC issues tax receipts for all donations of $10.00 or more.

We've benefited from the generous contributions of such groups as the Bowen Island Music Association who have earmarked revenues from their events for our cause. As well, individual artists have unselfishly donated their time towards such projects as the two CDs produced by BIAC - Snowin' on Bowen and Warming Up Winter.

The Community Hall & Arts Centre (CHAC) committee has embarked upon an ambitious capital fund raising campaign. One of the first events to be launched is the Annual CHAC Golf Tournament set for June 25, 2006. Additionally, we are planning theatrical performances, coffeehouses, a new CD and other exciting events.

CHAC is also focusing on securing funds from government sources, corporations and foundations.

Currently, we have collected more than $35,000 in funds. Our goal for 2006 is $125,000.
