D and The Hot Club of Mars on Saturday, March 6 at 7:30 at Cates Hill Chapel. Now that we are all on a high thanks to a fabulous two weeks of street parties and dancing during the Olympics, let's keep the party going! This Saturday, March 6th, BIMA is bringing a Gypsy Swing Jazz band to Cates Hill Chapel. D and the Hot Club of Mars will play to a warmed up Bowen crowd and the idea is to drink a little wine, have a few nibbles and dance, dance , dance. Since the focus is on good music and movement, The Urban Beat Dance Company will be at the chapel at 7:00 to provide an hour of swing dance lessons. Next, the band will play from 8:00-11:00. Tickets are $22 and available at Phoenix on Bowen. Since alcohol will be served, dancers and music lovers must be over 18. Keep the party alive and come out to swing on The Rock.
